The excellence of Don Cortez coffee has been consolidated over time thanks to our dedication to “Total Quality”.

The main goal is total satisfaction of the customers, who are at the heart of everything that Caffè Carraro S.p.A., owner of the trademark, does. The following management system and product certificates show that we provide our staff with ongoing training and underline the effectiveness of our production and organization processes:

ISO 9001

Continual improvements in the performance of the company are certified in accordance with this international standard, so Caffè Carraro can provide its customers with tangible evidence that it is maintaining and improving the quality of its products and services over time.

BRC (GSFS) – IFS

Caffè Carraro is certified in accordance with the BRC (grade A) and IFS (higher level) global food safety standards. Both forms of certification are recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and they confirm that certain targets have been met in a management system focusing on the quality, hygiene and safety of products.

CONFIDA

This is a certification system specifically for the vending industry, with physical quality standards that have been specially designed for the blends of coffee used in vending machines.

KOSHER

Kosher certification ensures that food products are suitable for consumption and that they comply with Jewish dietary law.

ORGANIC

The organic agriculture certificate shows that the product was grown and processed without the use of chemical substances. It ensures that the production processes comply with the specific requirements for the processing of organic raw materials, starting with prevention of the risk of contamination from other, uncertified raw materials.

HALAL

Halal certification ensures that food products have been processed in accordance with Islamic law.

RAINFOREST ALLIANCE

The Rainforest Alliance is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working to conserve biodiversity and ensure sustainable living conditions. Its approach involves promoting ecosystems and healthy communities in areas at risk through education and certification.

FAIRTRADE

Fairtrade is the most widely recognized international ethical certification mark in the world. Its aim is to support marginalized producers in developing countries, providing a fair, transparent way for them to trade and therefore improving their standard of living.
